How to create typing test questions?

Require responders to transcribe content presented in images.

Typing test questions are created using the Text-based question types, such as Short text, Long text, or Rich text. These questions are designed to assess a responder’s ability to accurately transcribe text from a visual source.

Steps to create a typing test question

  • Choose a text-based question as your question type, preferably "Long Text"
    Select a text-based question type.

    • Add an image that contains the target text.
      Click the

      Use the question text to instruct the test-taker to reproduce the text exactly as it appears in the image.
