Creating listening questions
You can easily add audio clips to your test questions by clicking on the audio icon in the content editor toolbar.
Sourcing audio clip
You can either:
- Upload a new audio clip from your device
- Use the URL of an existing clip.
After sourcing the audio clip for your question, click "Next" to move on to adjusting test-taker control settings.
Modifying test-taker control settings
You have the option to control whether test-takers can pause and navigate within the audio clip:
Allow pause: Enables test-takers to pause playback.
Allow navigation: Allows test-takers to move forward and backward within the clip.
Restrict navigation: Prevents test-takers from rewinding or skipping ahead, ensuring they listen in order.
Limit listening count: To limit the number of times that an audio clip can be played, simply uncheck the "Allow going forward-backward" checkbox and select from the options starting from "Unlimited" to 10 times maximum.
Once added, the audio player will be embedded in the question and/or answer choices.
