This guide will walk you through configuring consent settings, creating consent forms, and managing instructions to ensure compliance and transparency.

By configuring consent settings correctly, you will:

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
    • Provide clear instructions to test-takers regarding consent requirements.
      • Maintain records of consent agreements for auditing purposes.

        Navigating to Consent Settings

        To access the Consent settings:

        1. Click on the Organization Menu
          1. Select Consents
            The Consents section allows you to define how you will ask for consent from test-takers attempting to log into your assessments.


            Managing Consent Forms

            Activating Consent Requirement

            To require test-takers to provide consent before starting an assessment:

            1. Navigate to the Consents section.
              1. Toggle the Active switch to enable consent forms
                When activated, test-takers must agree to the consent form to proceed with the assessment.

                Adding Custom Instructions

                Custom instructions provide additional context or information to test-takers before they view the consent form.

                To add custom instruction:

                1. In the Instructions section, click Add.
                  1. Enter your customized message in the text editor.
                    1. Click Submit to save the instructions.
                      Besides the system-provided message, you can create a custom one in the same language as the consent document to be displayed to test-takers.

                      Creating a New Consent Form

                      To create a new consent form:

                      1. Click the + Add Consent button.
                        1. Enter a Title for the consent form.
                          1. Select the Consent Document you wish to use.
                            1. Choose the Consent Type:


                              > Explicit Display:
                              Presents the consent form in full view upon login. You can require test-takers to read the entire document before agreeing by enabling the 'First confirm after reading the document' option.

                              > Close Display: Displays the consent form in a collapsed state, which test-takers must open and read manually.
