Zapier

Connect TestInvite to thousands of other apps without writing any code — register candidates from a form or spreadsheet, and react the moment a test session completes.

TestInvite's official Zapier integration connects it to apps like Google Sheets, Typeform, and Jotform without any code — trigger an action in another app from a TestInvite event, or trigger a TestInvite action from an event in another app.

Authentication

When you add the TestInvite app in Zapier, it asks for your authorization token — paste it into the field shown and Zapier handles the rest. See Enabling the API for where to get one.

Action: Register a Candidate

Creates a new candidate under a task — use it to register candidates the moment they submit a Google Form, Jotform, or Typeform, add a row to a Google Sheet, or trigger from your CRM's own onboarding flow.

  • Inputs — Task ID (required), Full name (required), Email address.
  • Returns — Candidate ID, Candidate Invitation Code, Candidate Credential (if the task's access method uses one), Candidate Direct Access URL, Candidate Logged In.

Trigger: Test Session Completion

Fires the moment a candidate completes a test session — use it to sync results into an LMS or HR system, remind a reviewer to grade open-ended answers, or log every completion to a spreadsheet or dashboard. This is the same underlying event as the REST API's callback — see Webhooks & Callbacks — just delivered through Zapier instead of a URL you host.

  • Input — Task ID (required).
  • Trigger data — Test Session ID, Task ID, Step ID, Candidate ID, Session Status, Session Ignored, Session Completed At, Points Achieved, Max Available Points, Percentage Score.
