Tables
How to create and edit structured data tables inside question prompts using the visual table editor.
Updated 2026/07/11
Click the table button in the toolbar to insert a structured data table into the question prompt. A visual editor opens where you build the table before inserting it.
Creating a table
- Click the table button in the toolbar. The table editor dialog opens.
- Set the number of rows and columns.
- Enter content into each cell. Cells support plain text.
- Click insert (or save) to place the table at the cursor position.
Editing an existing table
Click the table in the editor to reopen the table editor dialog. You can add or remove rows and columns, and update cell content. The table's position in the prompt is preserved.
Typical use cases
- Comparison questions — present two or more options side by side for the candidate to evaluate.
- Data interpretation — a table of figures the candidate must read and answer questions about.
- Structured reference — a timetable, pricing matrix, or lookup table used as part of a scenario.
