Task Dashboard

The task's control center: live candidate and session statistics, per-step activity, the login URL for candidates, and quick links into every configuration area and review tool.

The task dashboard is the control center you land on after opening (or creating) a task. It answers the operational questions at a glance — who is registered, who has started, who has finished — and links into every configuration and review surface of the task.

What You See

  • Candidate statistics — how many candidates are registered and how far they've progressed, with the Invite menu for sending invitations right from the card.
  • Test session counts — sessions created, in progress, and completed, updating in real time as candidates work.
  • Per-step activity — how each step of the task is being used, so a multi-step process shows exactly where candidates currently are.

When a candidate starts a session while you have the editor open, a live-start alert appears (with an optional notification sound and a running count) offering to open the Exam Monitor — you never miss an exam quietly beginning in the background.

The Login URL

The Login Page button gives you the task's candidate-facing URL — Copy URL and share it, embed it, or open it in an incognito window to see exactly what candidates see. For pre-registered tasks candidates typically arrive via emailed invitations instead, but the login page is the common front door.

Where Everything Lives

  • Steps — configure each step: contents, pre-start gates, availability, anti-cheating, reporting, certification, emails.
  • Task Settings — access & entry, participant profile, pages & experience, email templates, live chat, advanced options.
  • Candidates — add, organize, and invite participants.
  • Test Sessions — every session with results, documents, and per-session actions.
  • Proctoring — the live Exam Monitor and the post-exam review tools.
  • Sent Mails and Analytics — outbound email history and aggregate insights.
During a live exam window, keep the dashboard open next to the Exam Monitor: the dashboard tells you the totals, the monitor tells you about individuals.
Tip

The task profile holds the task's identity and organization metadata. Open it with the pencil icon next to the task title at the top of the editor:

  • Title — the task's name, shown to your team and to candidates.
  • Use case — what kind of assessment this is; shown as a pill under the title.
  • Folder, labels, and tags — the same organization vocabulary as the tasks list; set them here to keep the list filterable as it grows.
  • Favorite — pins the task for quick access.

The profile dialog also displays the task ID with a copy button — you'll need it for API integrations and support requests.
