Test Library

How to browse, filter, and add pre-built tests from the Test Library to your account.

Published 2026/06/15

The Test Library tab gives you access to a curated collection of pre-built tests created by TestInvite. These cover a wide range of skill areas, roles, languages, and difficulty levels. Library tests are ready to use immediately, or you can add them to your account and customize them.

Browsing the Library

The library is organized into a category tree in the left sidebar. Expand categories to browse by subject area (e.g., Programming Languages, Soft Skills, Domain Knowledge). Select a category to scope the main list to tests in that area only.

Above the list, summary pills show the total count of tests across all categories, the count in the currently filtered view, and the number of categories selected.

Searching and Filtering

Use the search field in the toolbar to search by test title or description. Use the filter menu to narrow the list by:

  • Difficulty — filter by the test's difficulty rating
  • Type — filter by question or assessment type
  • Language — filter by the language the test is written in
  • Category — select one or more categories from the tree

Adding a Library Test

Click on any test to preview its description, question count, and sample content. To use it, click Add to my tests. The test is copied to your My Tests list as an editable test. From there you can link it to a task or modify the content before doing so.

Adding a library test creates an independent copy in your account. Changes you make to it do not affect the original library test.
