File Attachments
A file attachment gives candidates a downloadable file — a PDF, spreadsheet, or similar — that opens inline from within the question.
Click the attachment button in the toolbar to embed a downloadable file link in the question prompt. Candidates click the link to open or download the file without leaving the question.
Adding a file
- Upload — upload a DOCX, PDF, XLSX, CSV, TXT, or ZIP file from your device. The maximum file size is 10 MB.
- Media Library — select a file already stored in your organization’s Media Library.
After uploading a new file, configure its name, assign it to a Media Library folder, and add labels if needed. You can then set the title displayed for the attachment in the question content.
Editing an existing attachment
Click the attachment in the editor to open its edit dialog and replace the file or update its display label. The attachment's position in the content is preserved.
Typical use cases
- Case study or reading material — a PDF the candidate must read before answering.
- Data set — an Excel or CSV file the candidate works with to answer analytical questions.
- Reference document — a spec sheet, diagram, or table the candidate can consult during the question.
