Tasks Test Sessions

Session Actions

Intervene in sessions after creation — end a running session, accept or ignore a result, reinstate for a re-attempt — and manage AI Detections analysis in bulk or per session.

Session actions let you intervene in or adjust a test session after it has been created: ending a session early, accepting or ignoring a result, reinstating a session for a re-attempt, and managing AI Detections analysis.

Session interventions

  • End test session — force-complete a session that is still running. The candidate's answers so far are finalized and scored; use it for candidates who abandoned a session or exceeded their sitting.
  • Ignore result — mark a completed session's result as not valid, excluding it from consideration without deleting it. The session and all its data remain reviewable.
  • Accept result — the reverse: restore a previously ignored result to valid status.
  • Reinstate — give a completed session back to the candidate as a resumed attempt. The reinstate editor controls exactly where they resume and with how much remaining time per test, section, and page — the tool for candidates who lost connection, suffered a power cut, or were wrongly terminated.

Interventions run per session or in bulk on a selection; sessions that don't qualify for an action (e.g. ending a session that already completed) are skipped and reported. The same operations are also available live from the Exam Monitor while the exam runs — including bulk auto-reinstate that computes remaining time automatically per candidate.

AI Analysis column

Add the AI Analysis column to the session list via the column picker (Integrity group). Per session it shows:

  • Not run — AI Detections has not been run for this session.
  • Running % — analysis is in progress; a refresh icon appears on the row.
  • Halted — the run stopped before completing.
  • Done — analysis complete, with red and yellow finding counts shown.

Enable AI Detections (paid)

Forgot to enable AI Detections before the exam, or decided later that a batch deserves scrutiny? Select the completed sessions → open the ⋮ menu → Enable AI Detections.

  • You'll see exactly how many of the selected sessions are eligible, the credit cost, and your current balance before anything is charged.
  • The confirmation dialog offers Customize detection settings before charging.
  • Ineligible sessions (already enabled, not completed, no webcam recordings) are reported and skipped — you're never charged for a session that wasn't enabled.
  • If credits run out mid-batch, remaining sessions are left unenabled; partial batches are never over-charged.
  • Requires webcam recordings to exist; video sessions cost more credits than photo sessions.

Re-run AI Detections (free)

Select sessions → ⋮ menu → Re-run AI Detections. This re-analyzes sessions that already have AI Detections enabled — no charge.

  • Optionally customize detection settings for this run; the new settings persist for future runs of those sessions.
  • Sessions with an analysis already running are skipped.
  • Up to 100 sessions at once.
  • Re-runs never destroy review work: approved and declined findings and all manual detections survive every re-run. Only unreviewed AI findings are refreshed. Declined findings are never re-added.

Re-run a single session

Open the session review → click the AI chipRe-run analysis. Optionally customize detection settings for that run; the settings stick for future runs of that session. Snackbars summarize the outcome after each bulk action.
