Ignore & Accept Results
Ignore Result marks a completed session's result as invalid without deleting anything — it drops out of consideration but stays fully reviewable — and Accept Result restores it to valid at any time.
Ignore Result marks a completed session's result as not valid — it drops out of consideration without anything being deleted. Accept Result is the exact reverse: a previously ignored result returns to valid status. Together they let you exclude and re-include results as decisions evolve, always reversibly.
When to Ignore
- A proctoring review concluded the session wasn't legitimate.
- A technical failure compromised the sitting and the candidate is getting a fresh attempt — ignore the broken one so only the retake counts.
- A candidate took the wrong step or sat outside their allowed window.
What Ignoring Does — and Doesn't
- The session and all its data — answers, recordings, logs, evaluations — remain fully reviewable; only the result's validity changes.
- The candidate's standing reflects valid results only.
- Both actions run per session or in bulk on a selection; ineligible sessions are skipped and reported.
Prefer ignore over any thought of deletion: an ignored result keeps the full evidence trail, which is exactly what you need if the candidate appeals the decision later.
