Tests Reporting

Pass / Fail

How to set pass/fail thresholds and how the result is used in reports and result views.

Published 2026/06/15

The Pass/Fail tab lets you define a score threshold. When a test-taker's final score meets or exceeds the threshold, their result is marked as Passed. Below it, the result is marked as Failed. If no threshold is configured, results are shown as raw scores only, without a pass/fail determination.

Setting a Threshold

Enter the minimum score required to pass. Thresholds can be expressed as a percentage or as an absolute score, depending on how your test scoring is configured.

How Pass/Fail Appears

Once configured, the pass/fail result appears in:

  • The result report shown to the test-taker (when results are shared)
  • The admin panel results table, as a badge on each test instance
  • Any report template that has the pass/fail block enabled
Pass/fail status does not affect the test session or submission flow. It is applied after the test is submitted and scores are calculated.
