Certification

Attach one or more certificates to a step so candidates who complete it and meet each certificate's conditions receive their certificate automatically in their user report.

Certification attaches one or more certificates to the step. When a candidate completes the step and meets a certificate's conditions, that certificate is generated for them automatically and becomes available in their user report — no manual issuing.

How It Works

  1. Design certificate templates for the test (layout, wording, branding, and the conditions under which each is earned — e.g. a minimum score).
  2. In the step editor's Certification section, attach the certificates this step should grant.
  3. When a candidate completes the step, each attached certificate's conditions are evaluated against their result; earned certificates are generated with the candidate's details.
  4. The candidate finds the certificate in their user report — provided your step's Reporting settings include the certification component.

Multiple Certificates

Attaching several certificates lets one step grant different documents for different outcomes — a “Certificate of Achievement” above the pass mark and a “Certificate of Participation” for everyone who completes, or level-specific certificates matching your performance levels.

Check the whole chain when setting up: certificate conditions on the test, the certificate attached on the step, and the certification component enabled in the step's user report. If candidates report a missing certificate, one of those three links is usually the cause.
