Automated Emails
Configure step-triggered emails: completion notifications to your team with a default or fully customized template, and delivery rules for candidate-facing messages.
Automated emails fire when candidates reach specific points in this step. Two independent blocks are configured: notifications to your team and messages to candidates.
For System Administrators
- Email addresses — the list of recipients notified when a candidate completes the step. Add the people who need to act on completions: recruiters, exam coordinators, graders.
- Email template — keep the default template (a standard completion notification) or switch to a custom template and design the message yourself, including result details drawn from the step's test.
For Candidates
Candidate-facing messages are governed by email delivery rules: which events trigger a message to the candidate and what it contains — for example a completion confirmation, or their result when it becomes available. Configure the rules independently from the admin notifications; many exams notify admins on every completion but email candidates only when results are released.
Emails configured here are per step — in a multi-step task, each step notifies independently. Invitation emails are separate: they belong to Candidates → Sending Invitations, not to step automation.
