Roles & Permissions

Every user in your organization is assigned a role that determines what they can see and do within the platform. There are two user types: learners and teammates.

Learners

Learners are candidates who take assessments. They access the platform exclusively through the candidate portal and cannot see any administrative features.

Teammate Roles

Teammates are staff members who manage assessments and candidates. Each teammate is assigned one or more of the following roles:

  • Manager — full administrative access across the organization.
  • Editor — can create and edit assessments, tests, and questions.
  • Operator — can manage candidates and monitor running assessments.
  • Joker — limited access role for specific operational tasks.
  • Question Bank Supervisor — can review and approve questions submitted to the question bank.
  • Question Bank Submitter — can submit questions to the question bank for review.
A teammate with no role assigned is flagged with a warning in the user repository and cannot access the management interface.
