Roles & Permissions
Every user is a learner or a teammate. Teammates have one of seven access levels: Super Admin, Manager, Test Author, Task Operator, Custom Access User, Question Curator, or External Question Author.
Every user in your organization is either a learner or a teammate. Learners take assessments; teammates manage them, each with one of several roles that determines their scope of access.
Learners
Learners are candidates who take assessments. They access the platform exclusively through the candidate portal and cannot see any administrative features.
Super Admin
Every organization has exactly one Super Admin — the account that created it. Super Admin has unrestricted access to everything, and is the only account that can create teammate accounts and assign roles to them.
Teammate Roles
Besides Super Admin, teammates are assigned one of six roles, each explained in its own section below.

Assign Test Author to internal question authors, Question Curator to quality reviewers, and External Question Author to external contributors or subject-matter experts who shouldn't have access to your full question library.
The Super Admin is the account that created the organization — exactly one per organization, with unrestricted access to everything, and the only role that can create teammate accounts and assign roles to them.
Manager is a teammate role with near-full administrative access across the organization — the main exception being that only the Super Admin can create teammate accounts and assign roles.
Task Operator can create, configure, and run tasks, and manage the candidates within them, without access to question or test authoring.
Custom Access User is a limited-access role scoped to specific operational tasks rather than a full functional area.
Question Curator can view the question library and review, approve, revise, or reject submitted questions, without authoring questions directly or changing bank settings.
