Session Proctoring
Session Proctoring gives you a detailed view of a single candidate's captured session — everything recorded during their assessment, organized for efficient review. This is where you inspect AI detections, approve or decline findings, add manual flags, and finalize the session's integrity verdict.
The session header
The header of the session review shows at a glance:
- Verdict selector — toggle between auto (follows the AI risk score) and manual (your own flag). Your manual flag always wins.
- AI chip — shows the analysis status: Not run / Running % / Halted / finding counts. Click it to open the full analysis dialog.
- Red / yellow / green counts — how many monitoring items fall into each severity bucket.
- Pending reviews counter — how many AI findings still need a human decision.
- Materials summary — how many photos, video chunks, and screen recordings were captured.
The AI analysis dialog
Clicking the AI chip opens the analysis dialog, which shows:
- Current status and total duration of the last run.
- The detection settings the run used (so you always know what was checked).
- Per-chunk progress and processing times.
- Re-run analysis button — optionally customize detection settings for this and future runs of the session.
- If AI was never purchased for this session, the dialog instead offers the paid Enable action with a credit quote.
Reviewing findings
Findings can be reviewed in four views — timeline (chronological), gallery (scan photos / play videos), evidence (printable digest), or replay. Each finding sits on its exact photo or video second.
Click a finding's audit icon to open the evidence popup: what was measured (angle, confidence, distance, duration), which analysis run found it, who created a manual detection, and the full approve/decline history with actor and timestamp.
Approve and decline
- One by one: approve or decline directly on the finding.
- Bulk review: click the list icon next to the pending counter, pick a status filter, then approve or decline all findings of one kind (or all kinds) at once. A one-click Undo is available immediately after. Manual detections are never touched by bulk actions.
- Declining removes the finding's contribution to the risk score permanently — declined findings will not be re-added by future re-runs.
Manual detections
Add a manual detection from any media item or from the lightbox quick-flag bar. Choose the kind (suspicious activity or cheating activity), optionally add a comment. On videos, the current playhead second is recorded as the detection's timestamp. Use manual detections especially for screen recordings, which are not AI-analyzed.
Finalizing
- Press Apply to save your edits. The pending counter shows how many documents have unsaved changes.
- If you disagree with the auto verdict, switch to manual mode and set your own flag.
- Press Finalize to lock the session's proctoring stage. Finalization is your explicit sign-off; the AI never finalizes on its own.
