Standard Template
The Standard Template is TestInvite's built-in report layout; you choose which participant details admins and candidates see, how the grand score is shown, which sections and dimensions appear, the radar chart, question stats and interpretations.
The Standard Template is the built-in report layout. Every test has exactly one, and it's ready to use without any setup; its settings decide which blocks of the report appear and how scores are shown. Open it from the test's Reporting › Template tab by clicking Standard Template. Changes save as you make them and apply to every session, including completed ones.
Participant Card
The card at the top identifies the person who took the test. It has two independent views, so reviewers can see more than candidates do:
- Admin Panel — what your team sees in the Admin Report.
- User Panel — what candidates see in their own report.
In each view, turn on any of: Fullname, Credential 1, Email, Group, Personal Access Code, Tags and Labels.
Grand Score
The headline result of the test. Choose its Primary Value:
| Primary Value | Shown as |
|---|---|
| Point | Points earned, e.g. 34 |
| Point over Total | Points earned out of the maximum, e.g. 34 / 50 |
| Score % | Percentage of the maximum, e.g. 68% (the default) |
Scores
Display Scores & Scoreboard shows the score breakdown and the scoreboard of question outcomes (correct, incorrect, partially correct, unanswered).
Sections
Choose which sections get their own result block: Show all sections, or Show only selected sections and pick them. Leaving a section out only removes it from the report — its points still count toward the grand score.
Dimensions
Dimensions are listed by their path (Aptitude, Aptitude/Verbal). Choose:
- Show all dimensions.
- Show only selected dimensions — pick them by name.
- Show only selected levels — filter by depth in the path: level 1 is
Aptitude, level 2 isAptitude/Verbal, and so on up to level 5. For example, show only level 1 for a short summary of the main competencies. This is the default, with all levels on.
Parent dimensions add up their children, so a level-1 summary still reflects every question. See scored dimensions for how dimension points are earned.
Radar Chart
A radar chart compares several results at a glance. Turn it on and choose what it plots: Display Sections, Display Dimensions, or both. Dimensions on the chart have their own selection, with the same three options as above, so you can list every dimension in the table and plot only the main ones on the chart. A radar chart needs at least three axes to be readable.
Questions
Display Question Stats adds counts of questions by outcome for the whole test.
Interpretations
One switch shows or hides all interpretation labels and notes in the report — both those placed on the entire report and those placed on section reports.
Custom Report
Display Custom Report allows a custom report to be embedded in the standard report. Which custom report, and whether it goes at the top or the bottom, is chosen per delivery in the step's Admin Report and User Report settings with Extend with Custom Template.
Pass/fail verdicts, performance levels and benchmark comparisons appear in the standard report automatically when they are configured — on the test (Pass / Fail, Levels) or on the step (Benchmark). For candidates, each can be switched off in the step's User Report settings.
