Full English Level Test

The test measures English level in 4 main skill areas: Grammar, Vocabulary, Listening and Reading. There are 80 multiple choice questions in total.

Timing: – 60 minutes

Scoring: After you complete the test, you will be assigned by one of these CEFR levels: A1 (Beginner), A2 (Elementary), B1 (Pre-intermediate), B2 (Intermediate), C1 (Upper Intermediate) and C2 (Advanced)

Pearson Total English Placement Test

The test has 2 parts. Both Part A (below Intermediate) and Part B (Intermediate and above) have 50 multiple-choice questions each - hence the test has 100 questions in total.

Timing: – 100 minutes

Scoring: After you complete the test, you will be assigned by one of these levels: Below Elementary, Elementary, Pre-intermediate, Intermediate and Upper Intermediate

Outcomes English Placement Test

The Outcomes Placement Test has been developed to help course providers place students in the most appropriate level of the course. The Placement Test consists of 50 items testing grammar and vocabulary (one point for each correct answer).

Timing: – 30 minutes

Scoring: After you complete the test, you will be assigned by one of these levels: Elementary, Pre-intermediate, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate and Advanced

Straightforward English Placement Test Series

(1) Quick Placement & Diagnostic Test

The test has been designed to help you decide which of the five levels is the most appropriate for you.

The test has 50 questions, each worth one point. The first 40 are grammar questions and the final 10 are vocabulary questions.

Timing: – 45 minutes

Scoring: After you complete the test, you will be assigned by one of these levels: Beginner, Elementary, Pre-intermediate, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate and Advanced

(2) Beginner and Elementary Placement Test

The test has been designed to help you decide whether the Beginner Level course would be suitable for your students or whether they would qualify for using the Elementary Course.

The test has 50 questions, each worth one point. The first 40 are grammar questions and the final 10 are vocabulary questions.

Timing: – 45 minutes

Scoring: After you complete the test, you will be assigned by one of these levels: Beginner and Elementary

(3) Pre-intermediate and Intermediate Placement Test

The test has been designed to help you decide whether the Pre-intermediate course would be suitable for your students or whether they would qualify for using the Intermediate Course.

The test has 50 questions, each worth one point. The first 40 are grammar questions and the final 10 are vocabulary questions.

Timing: – 45 minutes

Scoring: After you complete the test, you will be assigned by one of these levels: Pre-intermediate and Intermediate

(4) Upper Intermediate and Advanced Placement Test

The test has been designed to help you decide whether the Upper Intermediate course would be suitable for your students or whether they would qualify for using the Advanced Course.

The test has 50 questions, each worth one point. The first 40 are grammar questions and the final 10 are vocabulary questions.

Timing: – 45 minutes

Scoring: After you complete the test, you will be assigned by one of these levels: Upper Intermediate and Advanced

New Inside Out English Placement Test Series

The New Inside Out QUICK and FULL placement tests have been designed to be used for placing students into groups corresponding to the six levels. Both of the tests (QUICK and FULL) are graded to test items that are progressively more difficult.

(1) New Inside Out QUICK TEST

The test tests structures and vocabulary. It is comprised of 60 multiple-choice test items (36 structure and 24 vocabulary) that are worth one mark each. The test becomes progressively more difficult.

Timing: – 45 minutes

Scoring: After you complete the test, you will be assigned by one of these levels: Beginner (A1), Elementary (A1+ to A2), Pre-Intermediate (A2+ to B1), Intermediate (B1), Upper-Intermediate (B2) and Advanced (C1)

(2) New Inside Out FULL TEST

The test tests structures, vocabulary, reading and writing. There are 76 multiple-choice items (the same 36 structure and 24 vocabulary questions as in the QUICK test, plus 16 reading items). Each of these items are worth one mark. Like the QUICK test, the FULL test becomes progressively more difficult.

Timing: – 60 minutes

Scoring: After you complete the test, you will be assigned by one of these levels: Beginner (A1), Elementary (A1+ to A2), Pre-Intermediate (A2+ to B1), Intermediate (B1), Upper-Intermediate (B2) and Advanced (C1)

English Practice Test Series

9 practice test, each in a different subject, each having 10 questions. Questions are randomly picked from a question pool of 25 questions. After you submit your answers, the system will provide feedback wheter your answers are true or false.
