Updating multiple questions

In the question bank, you can perform bulk updates on selected questions, such as updating the folder, tags, scoring, and dimensions.

To update questions in bulk, follow these steps:

1. Retrieve the desired list of questions
2. Select the questions you want to update
3. Click on the arrow button next to the "Update all" label located at the top of the question list.

After clicking the arrow button next to the "Update all" label, you will see a list of operations that you can perform on the selected questions.

Adding tags

To assign extra tags to the selected questions:

1. Choose the "Add/Remove/Update tags" operation.
2. Select the "Add extra tags" option.
3. Enter the tags you would like to assign.
4. Click on the "Update all" button.

Updating tags

You can also use the "Add extra tags" option to update the tags of the selected questions. If the tag you are adding already exists within a question, its value will be overwritten with the new value. If the tag does not already exist within the selected questions, it will be added.

Removing tags

To remove specific tags from the selected questions

1. Select the "Add/Remove/Update tags" operation.
2. Choose the "Remove tags" option.
3. Enter the name of the tags you wish to remove from the selected questions.
4. Click on the "Update all" button.

Renaming a tag

To rename a tag for all selected questions,

1. Select the "Rename a tag" operation
2. Enter the name of the tag you want to rename
3. Enter the new name
4. Click on the "Update all" button.

Updating the folder

To update the folder of the selected questions

1. Select the "Update folder" operation
2. Choose from the list of existing folders or enter a new folder name.
3. Click on the "Update all" button to save the changes.

Overwriting the folder and tags

To overwrite the folder and tags of the selected questions

1. Select the "Overwrite folder and tags" operation
2. Choose from the list of existing folders or enter a new folder name.
3. Define the tags you want to assign to the selected questions
4. Click on the "Update all" button.

Updating the scoring values

To update the scoring values of the selected questions, including the Point value and the negative multiplier value:

1. Select the "Update scoring" operation
2. Configure the new scoring values
3. Click on the "Update all" button.

Overwriting the dimensions

To overwrite the dimensions of the selected questions

1. Select the "Overwrite dimensions" operation
2. Define the new dimensions
3. Click on the "Update all" button.
