Listing questions

After selecting the desired folder you can click ''List questions'' to list all questions or select tags then click ''List' questions' to see the questions with the selected tags. The system will list the questions with the selected tags when you click List the Questions.

Changing the number of questions displayed on a page: If you want to see how many questions are displayed on each page, you can make the corresponding selection in the upper right corner.

Finding questions

When you select a folder the system will list you the tags of the questions in that folder and the number of the questions which uses those tags. You can further narrow down your search by selecting one or multiple tags.

You can also click a tag twice to filter out the questions with that tag from the list.

Selecting multiple tags
Selecting multiple tags

There are two main characteristics that differentiate the tags from the folder:

  • A question can be under a single folder but can contain many tags.
    • The folder only has a name, while the tags have both a name and a value.
Adding tags to the questions allows you to make cross-queries through these tags and easily access the questions you want.

      Example

In the example above, we chose the English folder. The system shows us that there are 16 Questions in this folder. 16 of these 16 questions have the category tag; 10 of them have the level tag; 6 of them have the subject tag. The system also lists the values (along with the number of questions) that each tag has taken in the questions, right next to it. For example, 6 out of 16 questions with category tags have reading, 2 have speaking values.

      • Narrow the list of questions to be listed by ticking the tag values you want.

        • Each time you make a selection, the system shows you how many questions you have in each tag value and how many you are about to list due to your choices.
          • Finally, click on the List the Questions button.

From the example above, we can draw the following conclusions:

            • There are a total of 8 questions whose category tag value is “writing”.
              • There are a total of 5 questions whose level tag value is “intermediate”.
                • However, we made 2 choices: There are a total of 3 questions with both the value of the category tag “writing” and the value of the level tag “intermediate“. When you select a value for multiple tags, the system lists only questions that meet all conditions. However, if you select many values for a tag together, it lists all the questions whose value is one of the selected values for that tag.
