How Abdi İbrahim streamlined talent acquisition with English proficiency assessments
Abdi İbrahim, a leading Turkish pharmaceutical company, sought to strengthen its recruitment process by prioritizing English proficiency alongside professional skills. To support this goal, the company adopted TestInvite's online assessments as part of its candidate screening workflow.
Quick Facts
The Challenge
Abdi İbrahim aimed to build a world-class team by improving its recruitment process and placing greater emphasis on English proficiency alongside candidates' professional skills. The company needed a structured assessment process that could evaluate multiple language skills while supporting an efficient and secure hiring workflow.
The Solution
Abdi İbrahim partnered with TestInvite to introduce online assessments into the initial stage of candidate screening. The company used the GELT and GESWE assessments to evaluate grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening, speaking, and writing skills. Candidates were required to achieve a minimum score of 45% on the GELT assessment before progressing to GESWE, helping focus the evaluation process.
To strengthen assessment security, the company combined Linear-on-the-Fly Testing (LOFT) with TestInvite's online proctoring features, including photo capture, video recording, and a secure exam browser.
TestInvite was also integrated with the company's existing Peoplebox ATS through an API, eliminating manual data entry and supporting a more efficient recruitment workflow.
