New workflow options for handling mandatory questions have been added
When a question is designated as "Mandatory", the question of when the test-taker should be required to answer it arises. Should the system enforce that the test-taker answer a mandatory question before leaving the page, or before leaving the section or submitting the test?
To address this concern, new workflow options for handling mandatory questions have been implemented. The system now allows you to choose from three strategies - "Prevent", "Warn" or "Do nothing" - for handling mandatory questions at each level of the test, including overall test, sections and pages.

Consider a scenario where "Prevent" is selected at the Test level, but "Warn" at the Section level. In this case, the system will issue a warning to the user when attempting to leave a Section, but will not prevent them from doing so. However, mandatory questions must be answered before the test can be submitted.
Similarly, choosing "Prevent" at the Page level will prevent the test-taker from navigating away from the page until all mandatory questions have been answered.
You can now customize your workflows by selecting the desired strategy at each level of your test.
